Restoration of the autonomic nervous system in post-traumatic stress disorder

Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is a chronic mental health disorder. It develops after a traumatic event, single or repeated. Most often, PTSD affects war veterans, combatants, prisoners and victims of torture, witnesses or victims of natural disasters, accidents, road accidents, domestic violence, bullying, and people who have experienced fear of death.

Only a few decades ago, this dysfunction was recognized by humanity, and, as it turned out, millions of people need help. Life for a victim of PTSD is unbearable: traumatic events replay in his head over and over again, they come in dreams, panic attacks often occur, chronic pain is disturbing. Such a person can not relax, he is constantly in "combat readiness", a state of anxiety. If you do not seek help, life is threatened, because often such people become depressed, resort to alcohol, drugs, commit suicide.

The rehabilitation program of the Kyivska Rus Medical Center was created to help people diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder. Its main task is to restore the nervous system and improve the overall condition of the patient.

When creating the program, the center's specialists were guided by the experience of foreign colleagues in dealing with the consequences of PTSD, it complies with international standards in the rehabilitation of such patients.

Importance is attached to the psychological state, so in the first place - consultations with a psychotherapist and diagnosis of stress level.

The procedures provided by the program treat and reduce the destructive effects of stress on the body, calm the nervous system, improve the general condition of the body as a whole. After completing the program, our participants are able to experience joyful emotions and feel the value of life again.
