- Skhidnytsia resort has four types of mineral waters:
- Water is consumed at a certain temperature specified in the doctor's prescription. Alcohol flasks and special utensils are used to heat the water. To prevent damage to teeth, mineral water should be drunk from a special cup with a long spout or through a straw.
Skhidnytsia resort has four types of mineral waters:
- Low-mineralized water such as Naftusia:
with a pronounced choleretic effect (sources No. 8, 9, 10, 25, wells 1C and 18C);
with a high content of organic matter (sources 1, 3, 26). - Low-mineralized water (springs No. 13, 15) with a high iron content;
- Sodium chloride water with a high bromine content;
- Borjomi mineral water (well No. 2c).
For treatment in Skhidnytsia, water types 1, 2 and 4 are used. You can drink the water only with a doctor's prescription and preferably under medical supervision!
- Mineral water No. 1
The spring is located in a forest area near the entrance to Skhidnytsia from Boryslav.
The water belongs to the group of sodium bicarbonate calcium waters. It contains organic substances of alcohol resins with impurities of humus substances, fulvic acids and carboxylic acids. The water also contains specific groups of microorganisms that enhance the therapeutic effect. The mineral water of the Skhidnytsia resort's source No. 1 is slightly mineralized, has a pronounced diuretic effect, and promotes mechanical washing and removal of small concretions, renal sand and products of inflammatory processes.
The water is used for treatment:
urolithiasis;
chronic pyelonephritis;
chronic pyelocystitis of non-tuberculous origin;
lithogenic diathesis;
liver and gallbladder diseases.
- Mineral water No. 3
The spring is located in a forest area not far from the entrance to Skhidnytsia from Boryslav.
The water is slightly mineralized, slightly acidic, and belongs to hydrocarbonate-calcium waters. It has a faint odor of hydrogen sulfide. It contains valuable trace elements - copper, bromine, zinc, iodine, fluorine, cobalt, traces of silver and manganese. Mineral water has a diuretic and anti-inflammatory effect, improves blood circulation in the body and urodynamics. In case of reduced kidney function, it helps to restore their normal function.
Indications for water consumption:
urolithiasis;
chronic diseases of the urinary and biliary tract;
- Mineral water No. 5
The spring is located at the opposite end of Skhidnytsia, near the Verkhovyna recreation center. The water from the spring is also supplied to the pump room on the territory of the sanatorium. The spring itself is located in the forest. The water is bicarbonate-sodium-calcium slightly mineralized with a content of organic substances. The presence of toxic trace elements (heavy metals, pesticides, etc.) in the water from spring No. 5 is significantly lower than the established standards.
The water is bicarbonate-sodium-calcium slightly mineralized with organic matter.
Indications for water consumption:
urolithiasis;
chronic diseases of the urinary and biliary tract;
- Mineral water No. 8, 9, 10
The springs are located near the DiAnna health and recreation center (the beginning of Shevchenko Street).
In terms of composition, these are slightly alkaline, slightly mineralized, bicarbonate-calcium waters. They have a high content of silicic acid, ferrous iron, manganese, and traces of silver. The waters increase the formation of bile and the excretion of its acids, while reducing cholesterol levels.
Indications for water consumption:
diseases of the liver and biliary tract;
chronic cholecystitis and hepatitis;
cholelithiasis;
urolithiasis;
chronic pyelonephritis.
Water enhances the urinary function of the kidneys, increases diuresis, and the filtration function of the kidneys.
- Mineral water No. 13
The spring is located at the entrance to Skhidnytsia from Boryslav on the left, not far from the Stozhary and Skhidnytsia Karpaty sanatoriums.
Water is of the bicarbonate-calcium type. The water contains iron. Water is slightly mineralized. Under its influence, the secretory function of the gastric glands changes, the formation of red blood cells in the blood accelerates, and the hemoglobin content is restored. It helps to remove radioactive cesium from the body.
There are no analogues in Ukraine.
Indications for water consumption:
liver disease;
chronic gastritis with normal and reduced secretory functions;
chronic enteritis and colitis;
iron deficiency anemia;
radiation sickness and other diseases.
- Mineral water No. 15
The spring is located in a forest area near the Hutsulka sanatorium.
This is slightly mineralized water with iron content, similar to water from source No. 13. It contains iron, manganese and carbon dioxide. Mineral water from source No. 15 at Skhidnytsia helps to remove radionuclides from the human body.
Indications for water consumption:
chronic pyelonephritis;
stomach diseases with low acidity;
chronic cystitis and other diseases;
iron deficiency anemia.
- Glycerin water of the spring No. 357
The source of glycerin water in Skhidnytsia is located in the forest near the Hutsulka sanatorium, next to the source No. 15.
Mineral water from source No. 357 of Skhidnytsia resort with a high glycerin content is used to improve skin condition. It saturates the skin with useful microelements. With regular rubbing and washing, the skin becomes silky and smooth.

Mineral water No. 25 in Skhidnytsia resort
The spring is located in a forest area near the Zeleny Bor health center.
The water is slightly mineralized with a pronounced choleretic effect.
Indications for water consumption:
chronic pyelonephritis;
chronic cystitis;
cholangitis;
chronic hepatitis;
cholecystitis;
condition after Botkin's disease;
condition after kidney surgery.
- Mineral water No. 26
The spring is located in a forest area near the Zeleny Bor health center.
The water is of the bicarbonate-sulfate-calcium-magnesium type. It is saturated with organic substances, acids, and is classified as "Naftusia" water by its organic matter content. It is located next to the source No. 25.
Indications for the use of water during treatment in Skhidnytsia:

- Mineral water No. 1c (well)
It is located on Zarichna Street, near the Stozhary and Karpaty sanatoriums, near the spring No. 13.
The water is slightly mineralized with a high content of organic matter. It has a pronounced choleretic effect. Its composition is similar to Naftusya in Truskavets, but it has a better therapeutic effect. Truskavets, but has a better therapeutic effect.
Indications for water consumption:
pancreatitis;
diabetes mellitus;
diseases of the urinary tract;
liver disease and other related diseases;
- Mineral water No. 2c (well) of Skhidnytsia resort
The well is located on Shevchenko Street, almost in the center of the village, not far from the bus station.
The water is moderately mineralized, belongs to bicarbonate-chloride-sodium water with a high content of trace elements. It is called "soda" and affects the acid-base balance in the stomach.
Indications for water consumption:
diseases of the stomach, intestines and duodenum;
chronic pancreatitis, colitis, gastritis with normal and high acidity;
peptic ulcer disease.
- Mineral water No. 18c (well)
The well is located on Kotlyarevskoho Street, near the Santa Maria hotel and recreation complex.
Water is supplied from a well over 100 meters deep. It is slightly mineralized, slightly alkaline, and has a pronounced choleretic effect. It belongs to bicarbonate-sulfate-sodium waters. The water has a faint smell of hydrogen sulfide and a high content of trace elements. Water increases bile production, stimulates choline synthesis in the liver, stimulates liver tissue regeneration, reduces cholesterol, and reduces inflammation in the kidneys.
