Endocrinology as a branch of medicine has been in great demand in recent decades, not only in Ukraine but also around the world. Diseases of the endocrine glands have become almost a characteristic of those who eat poorly, experience constant stress and lead an unhealthy lifestyle. Endocrinologists provide assistance to patients with diseases of the following endocrine glands:

  • Thyroid and parathyroid glands.
  • Pancreas.
  • Adrenal glands.
  • Pituitary gland, hypothalamus and pineal gland.
    Symptoms of endocrine diseases are extremely diverse and can have many "masks" of other diseases.

Consultation with an endocrinologist is necessary if you have:

  • general weakness, fatigue, drowsiness, memory impairment, chills, numbness of the extremities,
  • depressive states;
  • hair loss;
  • overweight or underweight, or there have been dramatic changes in body weight over a short period of time;

  • constant or intermittent palpitations, heart rhythm disturbances, feeling of heat and internal trembling;
  • pain in the bones, joints, muscles, spine, muscle weakness, frequent bone fractures with minor physical impact, cramps in the limbs;

  • high blood pressure in young and adult age, crisis course of hypertension, which is difficult to treat with modern antihypertensive drugs;
  • deterioration of visual acuity, the appearance of a "veil, flies" in front of the eyes, photophobia, lacrimation, and the appearance of "staring";
  • swelling of the eyelids and the entire face, swelling of the legs.
  • menstrual irregularities, discharge from the mammary glands.
  • Reproductive disorders (infertility, in both sexes)
  • increased body hair in women, acne, stretch marks (striae) on the skin
