The concept of "kinesitherapy" (also known as "kinesitherapy", "kinesiotherapy", "kinesiotherapy") comes from the words "kinesis", which means movement, and "therapy" - treatment, that is, "treatment with movement". Kinesitherapy is used for most diseases and begins immediately after the stabilization of the patient's condition. It is prescribed to restore or rehabilitate motor function, reduce the risk of complications (thromboembolism, respiratory diseases, bedsores, contractures, etc.) and preserve the patient's overall physical ability.
