{"id":2336,"date":"2022-03-07T14:17:59","date_gmt":"2022-03-07T11:17:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/krmedical.com.ua\/?p=2336"},"modified":"2022-03-08T13:31:28","modified_gmt":"2022-03-08T10:31:28","slug":"shho-robiti-u-razi-ushkodzhennya-kinczivok-ta-pri-krovotechi","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/krmedical.com.ua\/en\/shho-robiti-u-razi-ushkodzhennya-kinczivok-ta-pri-krovotechi\/","title":{"rendered":"What to do in case of limb injuries and bleeding?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em><strong>According to the Rules, the provision of first aid is necessary:<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Make sure that there is no danger.<\/li>\n<li>Examine the victim, determine the presence of consciousness and breathing.<\/li>\n<li>Call an emergency (ambulance) medical team.<\/li>\n<li><strong>If there is no bleeding<\/strong>:\n<ul>\n<li>put on gloves;<\/li>\n<li>to lift the limb;<\/li>\n<li>apply a clean, sterile napkin and bandage to the wound.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>If the bleeding is arterial<\/strong>:\n<ul>\n<li>apply a clean, sterile cloth to the wound and press directly on the wound;<\/li>\n<li>to lift the limb;<\/li>\n<li>if the bleeding is not stopped, apply a pressure bandage to the wound and, if possible, simultaneously press the artery at a distance;<\/li>\n<li>if the bleeding is not stopped, apply a tourniquet.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>If the bleeding is venous<\/strong>:\n<ul>\n<li>apply a clean, sterile cloth to the wound and apply pressure directly to the wound;<\/li>\n<li>to lift the limb;<\/li>\n<li>if the bleeding is not stopped, apply a bandage to the wound.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Lay the victim on his\/her back with the legs raised slightly above the level of the heart.<\/li>\n<li>Cover the victim with a blanket.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><em><strong>If there is no breathing, start cardiopulmonary resuscitation:<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>perform 30 chest compressions with a depth of at least 5 cm (no more than 6 cm), with a frequency of 100 compressions (no more than 120) per minute;<\/li>\n<li>take 2 breaths using a valve mask, breathing mask, etc. In the absence of protective equipment, you can not perform artificial respiration, but only press on the chest. Two breaths should last no more than 5 seconds;<\/li>\n<li>repeat the previous two points alternately until the ambulance arrives.
